ILF partner Yaroslava Onika participated in the International forum “Agricultural sector of Ukrainian economy as an investment object”, which was held on June 15 in Kyiv within the XXІІ International Agro-Industrial exhibition AGRO-2010.
During the forum the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk, the Vice-Prime Minister in charge of agrarian matters Viktor Slauta, representatives of the Presidential Administration, diplomats, leaders of major national and foreign holding and investment companies, and financial institutions spoke on the issues of investment attraction to the agrarian sector of Ukraine.
The participants discussed the agricultural potential of Ukraine, the necessity to bring Ukrainian tax legislation into compliance with international standards, to work out state investment programs, and to promote Ukraine as a leader of the European agricultural sector.
