Ukraine is a rich with a vast variety of natural resources and minerals. Up to 15% of the country's territory is covered with forests. There are more than 7000 lakes in Ukraine and large deposits of iron, coal, and other minerals. The laws of Ukraine that regulate the use of natural resources and minerals are quite restrictive and complicated for investors.
